چکیده

In Senegal mango production has long existed in traditional forms, especially the south and center of country. It accounts for 60% countrys fruit production, with an estimated annual output 150,000 tons. Despite a positive balance sheet recent years, orchardsareaffected by numerous phytosanitary constraints like diseases insect pests. Among diseases, malformation is considered one most deadly tree. Since its discovery 2009 Senegal, disease continued to spread this area incursions towards northern part Few studies were dedicated that pathogen Senegalese context. This study was carried out help bring more light identity pathogen(s) causing disease. Therefore 13 isolates Fusarium obtainedfrom tissueswere characterized using morphological criteria molecular analysis. The 5.8S rDNA region internal transcribed spacer (ITS) amplifiedusing ITS1 ITS4 primer pairs. Sequence analysis other analytical studiesshowed tree southern relatedto diversity species. analysisallowed identify several strains very high degree similarity (99.08 99.82%) species NCBI database ranged.

Role of Fusarium Mangiferae in Causation of Mango Malformation Disease

Determination of fungi associated with malformed tissues of mango was done on different local and exotic cultivars during the year 2000-2001. Five mango growing districts of the Punjab were selected for the study with three locations in each district. A total of 75 malformed samples and 750 tissues (10 tissues / sample) of 5 standard local cultivars and 1500 tissues of exotic cultivars were ass...

PCR-Based Identification and Characterization of Fusarium sp. Associated with Mango Malformation

Mango malformation is the most serious disease of mango causing considerable damage to the mango orchards worldwide. It is a major threat for mango cultivation in north Indian belt. In recent years, Fusarium sp. is finding wide acceptability in scientific community as a causal agent of this disease. However, little information is known about the variability in Fusarium isolates from malformed m...

Interaction of the mite Aceria mangiferae with Fusarium mangiferae, the causal agent of mango malformation disease.

The role of the mango bud mite, Aceria mangiferae, in carrying conidia of Fusarium mangiferae, vectoring them into potential infection sites, and assisting fungal infection and dissemination was studied. Following the mite's exposure to a green fluorescent protein-marked isolate, conidia were observed clinging to the mite's body. Agar plugs bearing either bud mites or the pathogen were placed o...
